Come and join us in idyllic Ibiza for a beautiful week of all things yoga - dynamic vinyasa flow asana, nourishing slow flow asana, indepth workshops, pranayama, yoga nidra, meditation and chanting.

Over 5 glorious days there will be morning and evening asana practice as well as 2 extra daytime workshops to help you dive a little deeper.

On this retreat, you get two teachers for the price of one, making the student to teacher ratio 4:1 and as we both offer something a little different there will be plenty of variety and time for individual attention for help with your alignment, for a philosophical debate or simply to sit with an orange juice together by the pool.

We know the word "retreat" means different things to different people, you might want to spend time alone or with others, you might want a week to detox or maybe time to let your hair down, you might want to eat only vegetables or only chocolate.

With that in mind, we encourage you to join in with as many or as few of the activites as you wish. If you'd rather have a lie in than come to yoga, get cosy and enjoy catching those extra zzz's. But if you wanted even more activity, we are both available for reduced price 1:1 sessions during the retreat.

The Villa

Calle Las Dalias, Santa Eulalia, Ibiza

The villa is a spacious and comfortable family home, with many happy memories within its very fabric. There are 4 twin rooms, so we have space for 8 attendees sharing with each other.

Yoga sessions and workshops will take place on the rooftop veranda, with stunning views out to sea and there's a cool swimming pool to help you escape the hot Spanish sun. There are cosy indoor spaces for relaxing and a communal dinner table where we will laugh together in the twilight hours.

A short taxi ride or a beautiful walk away are beaches, a lovely harbour, spas, shops and many cafes, bars and restaurants.

We will prepare you simple, varied and delicious meals every day with all food being vegetarian with vegan options. Breakfast will mostly be granola, fruit platters, fresh bread, condiments and smoothies and a few home baked healthy muffins. Lunch will be a fresh, tasty salad and something healthy to satisfy your sweet tooth and dinner will be seasonal vegetarian and vegan salads, stews and platters.

You're not required to cook, but if you enjoy getting busy in the kitchen you are more than welcome to, it can be a lovely bonding experience to create offerings for the group together.

The group will go out for 2 evening meals and 1 lunch (not included in the price), although if you would prefer to stay at the villa for some quiet time there will be plenty of food for you to cook for yourself.



THE YOGA

Dynamic Solar Flow

Each morning we will greet the sun and welcome a new day with energising pranayama breathing exercises and a fun, flowing vinyasa sequence. You will learn new ways to strengthen and lengthen, to find flight in your practise and free the body of painful posture habits.

 

Gentle Lunar Flow

We will welcome dusk with a nourishing slow flow sequence, inspired by yin yoga, vinyasa flow, dance, Pilates and tai chi. These sessions will include meditation, yoga nidra and chanting, to balance the body, mind and spirit.

 

"Hips and Splits" Workshop

We will take an indepth look at the anatomy of the hips and pelvis and see how we can release tension, create length and cultivate strength. Why do people say that emotion is stored in the hips? Why can't I get into splits yet? How do I approach over-splits and contorsion safely by learning about the physiology of stretching? How can I reduce back pain with functional glute strengthening? Many questions, but we have the answers!

 

"Heart Openers to Conquer Fear" Workshop

Modern life isn't kind on our spines and couple that with the general weakness that most of us feel in our "core" muscles and that makes approaching back bends quite a challenge. We will guide you through how to create even, balanced lines, how to open the areas of your body that will enable ease of movement of the spine and how to modify, progress and transition in creative ways. Alongside this, comes an energy and chakra centred philosophical debate on how to conquer fear and walk through life with confidence, empathy and peace.

(All deposits are non-refundable and cancellations of your place on the retreat made 10 weeks before will result in a refund of the full amount less the deposit and any cancellations made less than 10 weeks before the retreat are non-refundable. Places are transferable if you find someone who would like to take your place.)


Included

15 hours of yoga classes, 2 workshops, 3 evening meals, 5 lunches, 6 breakfasts, non-alcoholic drinks, bed linen, towels and two very lovely yoga teachers!

Not Included

Flights and transfers, taxis to the beach and town (although we will have a large car, so the whole group can share any other taxi prices on group trips), travel insurance and toiletries. Alcohol isn't provided but isn't forbidden!

We prefer our students to bring their own yoga mats and props, for hygiene and in case you want to take your equipment off on day trips to the beach, but if this is tricky for you we can absolutely provide them.

Optional Extras

We will both have a limited number of slots available for 1:1 sessions, which must be bought before you arrive, at the very reduced rate of £40 an hour. We can work on anything you wish during this time, our skill set including yoga, Pilates, personal training, meditation, yoga nidra and yoga teacher mentoring.
